These are one of my favorite looking balls ~ clean lines and clear patterns.

Jan '04 UPDATE: Last year, this female produced 5 perfect eggs that resulted in 1.4 offspring. They are all het for albinism. Their sire is my reduced pattern albino male. My hopes for perfect tigers wasn't fulfilled, but they are quite nice banded babies just the same. See photos above. I will be keeping the females back to breed to the albino male and the one male I will try to breed back to his dam to see if I can improve on the tiger look. I believe this is a genetic pattern mutation. I sold a male ball python with some "tiger markings" produced from this tiger female (bred to a normal male) in 1997. Her son was bred to a normal female in 2001 by Bob S. and there were two "tiger-looking" offspring (see bottom two photos) in the clutch. This effectively proves that this is a genetic pattern trait with inheritance seen in F1 and F2 generations. However I don't believe this is a recessive trait such as albinism, axanthic, or piebald mutations. I look forward to working out the pattern inheritance in the years to come. What a fun project!
