Ball Python Breeding 2005 Season

This season the albino male is back in action with the same het that produced the albinos last season and his two year old het-daughter from Nessa in 2002.  They are still breeding regularly into mid April.  The albino male was paired up with my albino female, but I am also using the tiger/albino het male with her. Also I have been breeding my two '02 pastel males to four un-tried normal females.  There has been no copulation seen, but a lot of sitting on top of the females by the pastels.  They might not be ready to go this season.  But I am keeping my fingers crossed.  The other project has been with my tigers.  I have paired up the tiger male with a beautiful light reduced pattern female and they really hit it off.  She completely had me fooled because she laid six perfect eggs when I was not expecting them.  I am really hopeful for sweet tiger babies.

The end result was 5.1 babies that were slightly reduced pattern but not like I was hoping.  One male is definitely got something going on and I have him pictured above.  I also kept back the little female but she has one small eye.  I will try to breed her back to her sire to see if the gene is recessive.
