This
season, there were five babies that hatched out. There
were three yellow and two maroon. Unfortunately one of
the maroon babies wasn't doing well and didn't make it through
his first shed cycle. He died without shedding or
eating. His posture during perching was indicative of a
problem from the beginning. He kept his head pointed
upwards and his face was very "beaked" in
appearance. The remaining four are doing fantastic
and have all eaten over ten times. Above you can see
some outdoor shots of them next to my caladiums and other plants for
contrast and color. They are all unique and quite
beautiful. Expect tons of photos as these girls
mature.
